Hi can I ask my 15 qashqai the orange management only ever comes on when I put it in 6th gear. It can take 10 minutes whilst in 6th to come on. Any idea please ?

I have the same issue with my transit 2.2, my turbo went last year so had it replaced, but since fitted, on motorway driving I get the p0299 code. I also constantly smell the exhaust from the cab and I also get the oil change required warning come up, plus every few days I get white smoke bellowing out the back briefly. My engine blew up earlier this year so I had a recon fitted, but I'm still having the same issues as before the new engine. I'm at a brick wall as the garage that fitted the new turbo say they can't see anything wrong. I heard you mention you was in Luton, I'm from Stevenage which is just up the road from there, and if you're able, would love you to come and have a look. I'm getting desperate as no-one seems to be able to help. Thanks

R9m engine it might be that the engine is burning oil you have to use rn17 engine oil in them low ash many people do not and it causes the engine to burn oil and then clogs the dpf sympton not the cause .the engine has steel pistons in them to improve torque it wears the rings out usually they start having starting problems

Paying more than petrol & paying for Adblue doesn't really make a diesel car more cost effective for that extra 10mpg. Parts & labour incl the regen doesn't make sense.

The question is, has this owner had good value for money? Answer is NO. This sounds like the kind of van that could bring a tradesman to his knees. Down time and expense. Shame on the Renault dealer.
